Pilates teacher at Swaha Center.
Dimitris Fragkos started running track at the age of five and had learnt how to run, even before he learned how to write. Being dedicated to sports, he went on to become a champion in the long jump. In 2011, he graduated with a mark of 9.5/10 from the University of Thessaly, Department of Physical Education and Sport Science, specializing in indoor exercise and Sports Management.
Eventually, alternative ways of exercise and a personal injury inspired Dimitris to develop his knowledge on fitness. He has been a certified Pilates Instructor since 2009, having completed more than 500 hours of training.
He was initially trained in the German school of Pilates at AF studies and then he studied Classical Pilates at “Kinaesthesis” with Margarita Efthimiou, a second generation teacher of Joseph Pilates. In 2016 he was the rapporteur of 2 Pilates workshops at the 2nd Fitness Convention for fitness professionals and students of the University of Thessaly, in Trikala.
He has worked with many important Pilates studios, and has organized the fitness program in a big hotel chain. He is, also, a fitness editor at the “magazen” e-magazine.
