Michael Carter, Los Angeles based yogi, founder of Michael Carter Lifestyle, fashion, fitness and wellness consultant.

At this wonderful gathering that will take place this Easter in magical Bali, we are going to look at the feminine and masculine aspects of both men and women (and how they differ in each) and explore these aspects through our Yoga Practice. Get ready to sweat, flow, play, introspect, breathe, let go, strengthen, bond, love, replenish, nourish and so much more while exploring the Yin and Yang, the Sun and the Moon, the Siva and Shakti principals within yourself. Led by Tanya Popovich and Michael Carter.

Daily Schedule

7:30-10:00 Dynamic Mornings
Morning practice will alternate between Jivamukti Yoga Vinyasa and Yoga Sculpt + Slow Flow
Pranayama, Meditation and Deep Relaxation will be a part of each practice.

18:00-19:30 Nourishing Evenings
Evening Practice will be deep and gentle, and will alternate between LSD Flow, Reastorative Yoga, Gentle and Therapeutic, Partner Yoga, and group discussions.

Few words about the Teachers:

Tanya Popovich is a senior teacher, teaching 200-hr and 500-hr trainings, yoga retreats and workshops internationally. She is the founder of Swaha Yoga Center in Athens, Greece, Jivamukti Yoga certified teacher, Yoga Acharya (Master of Yoga) in the Sivananda Tradition with a long background in allignment based Anusara Yoga. While keeping her base at the moment in Athens, Greece, she is mostly on the road sharing the joy of yoga accross the globe.

Michael Carter is a Los Angeles based Yogi and Lifestyle consultant with a focus on fitness and fashion. His Yoga journey began in 2004 in New York City. The clarity, connection, self-awareness, and the physical and mental demands of the asana and breath resonated with him deeply. He began incorporating the principals and practices of yoga into his consulting business and personal life, with great success and many happy clients. By merging the core elements of yoga, and strength training he has developed a unique flow whose goal is to strengthen, lengthen and sculpt the body to its fullest potential.

About Canggu

Canggu is probably the coolest little village in Bali where the yogis, the surfers and the hipsters come together for a chilled out, layed back, healthy and happy life. There are several beaches, with bigger and smaller waves catering that way to both proffesional and beginner surfers. Canggu is full of restaurants and cafes with some of the yummiset and healthiest foods in the world. And we plan on taking you to the best!! There are also a few bars available that have events and live music on different days so there is always something fun to do in the evenings. The whole vibe is very chilled out though and everything happens early so that we all – yogis, surfers or any other sport enthusiasts get a good night’s sleep and wake up early am to flow either with the waves or on our mats and enjoy the Balian sun. 🙂
