Check out the places we will visit:

This area of the Aegean Sea allows for peaceful sailing as the winds are usually mild.

Each of the islands of the Argo-Saronic Gulf has a unique feel and culture so you can hop between classical heritage, resort beaches, exquisite architecture and remote escapism. Our crew has sailed the region many times, so we are familiar with local people and places along the way!~ Agistri is a small island covered with lush pine forests. It has a port in the North, and in the West there are bays of anchorage. It is well known for its wild beaches and turquoise waters.~Aegina boasts a great number of sights and natural beauties, highlight of which is the famous Aphaia Temple. It forms an equilateral triangle with the Parthenon and the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion, the so-called “holy triangle” of the Greek antiquity. On the south-west side of Aegina is the Islet of Moni, a great place for sailing and hiking. Moni is surrounded by blue-green water and inhabited only by falcons, deer, kri-kri goats and peacocks.~Epidaurus is a little town on the east coast of Peloponnese. From July to September, the town is busy with theatre festivities taking place in the region. There are many beautiful places to enjoy food and a night out. Close to the town set amid pine-clad hills is the World Heritage site of the Sanctuary of Asclepius as well as the magnificent ancient amphitheater of Epidaurus. ~The city of Poros has beautiful picturesque streets combining neoclassical and Cycladic architecture. A lovely place for food and drink by the sea. Poros still maintains a sense of remoteness in its sparsely populated, forested interior. Henri Miller writes: ‘Coming into Poros gives the illusion of the deep dream.Suddenly the land converges on all sides and the boat is squeezed into a narrow strait from which there is no egress.’~Hydra stands alone among Greek islands as the one free of wheeled vehicles. No cars. No scooters. Just tiny marble-cobbled lanes, donkeys, rocks and sea. Artists (Brice Marden, Nikos Chatzikyriakos-Ghikas), musicians (Leonard Cohen), actors and celebrities (Melina Mercouri, Sophia Loren) have all been drawn to Hydra over the years. So in addition to the island’s exquisitely preserved stone architecture, criss-crossing rural paths and clear, deep waters, you can find a good coffee along the people-watching harbor.(The itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions or other factors)

About our yoga teacher:

Polyxeni is known for her appeasing voice and her smooth adjustments. She is a freelance actress with a rich background in physical movement work. Her interest for meditation and yoga was triggered during her studies in drama school, where she started sensing the innate wisdom of the body. During the last ten years, while working on stage, she has kept an intensive yoga practice. In and all she has found the two complementary in a beautiful way.

Her love for yoga and performance have led her to travel around the world, from Brazil to India, to the States, England and Costa Rica she has had the opportunity to connect with great teachers as well as share her knowledge and inspiration along the way. She has studied extensively within various yoga practices and she is one of the few Certified Jivamukti Yoga teachers based in Athens.

The core concern of her practice is mindfulness; being present every moment with the body and breath. While teaching, her goal is to create a space for practitioners to feel inspired, nurtured and grounded. Somehow re-visiting life that ‘happens’ through us is for her a great source of energy and calm.
